Look around and figure out who’s driving…

the conversation?

(and choosing) the direction?

the activities?

the initiatives?

An old saying goes “lead, follow or get out of the way”.

Be certain if the person who is holding the keys knows how to drive, how to get there, and wants to be in the driver’s seat. If they don’t, that is okay. Take a step back, talk about it and figure out who’s driving next and be sure they are the right person in the seat.
