So, since we have just flipped 40 degrees in the opposite direction of where the winter was heading, I am wondering and this is a serious question. It is too late for pumpkin….stuff, right?

When I was the coffee buyer, my franchisees would beg for more inventory of Pumpkin Spice Latte and Cappuccino.  When we told them we were cutting them off to move inventory well in advance of the Christmas holidays, they ordered as much as they could – literally – and then hide it from us, but still offer it in-store much past the last date of sale recommended by our marketing and promotional calendar.

Of course, in your own home, you can do whatever you want and whenever you want.

I spent some time re-organizing the pantry and found Pumpkin Spice flavored Chex Mix® and I am really hoping that I am wrong, but I am sure that my guests will tell me whether or not it is too late for pumpkin before I toss it. I guess I am just trying to make some space for things that lean toward springtime instead of winter or, even fall.
