Whether you are born with it or choose it, what’s in a name is probably more about what you make of it.

Not just John or Bob, Mary or Ann…the first and last are usually assigned. We don’t have an option, even though you can change it later. Families typically dictate and trends provide influence. We can all decide what we make of it – making it memorable.

A very good friend.

Helper to those in need.

Leader, the one who steps up to the task to do the right thing, strategically and taking chances.

Mom or Dad, not always a choice – a few, less or more, but for me a magical three.

In the end of the long life what’s in a name is more than just doing what you need to do; it’s making them fall in friendship, in gratitude, in step, or in love with you. Over and over again.
