Ever look at or read something and wonder, what were they thinking?
Layout all over the place. Totally disorganized. Of course it seems that way to the layperson. To the one who hasn’t been there before to see what they were aiming to accomplish.
A total overload. Too much stuff, crammed into a tiny space. Of course, they don’t know the history, the reason why they have so much, or the space is so small. Perhaps it wasn’t like that all the time. This is transitive and temporary.
Art that doesn’t appear to look like anything. Colors. Splashes. Lines. Lots of nothing. Unless you get close and see the layering, the texture. Or, take a bunch of steps back, and let it blur a bit. Now you get the impression.
We all have our own opinion and open minds will be able to see clearly. They will not need to ask – what were they thinking when they got started? They will quite possibly have an idea where they are now and where they will be next.
