We haven’t had snow in two years and they hinted at disaster – calling this a double blizzard…

When I think blizzard though, I think feet of snowdrifts and no visibility – plus wind. The result? Tall piles of snow, like when I was 8 and it was up to my waist. (I was only a little girl and not that tall so my memory may be a bit skewed.)

It could be expectations.

It could be marketing.

It could be news skewing the reality.

It could be colder! (But, it isn’t!!)

This last week with two snow events, only a few inches each, does not equate to a double blizzard. Though, honestly we would have fared worse…glad we didn’t.
