I am truly thankful for what I have.

For who I am.

For who helped me get here.

For my mom and dad.

For my sisters and brother.

For my own family I built with my husband.

For his family who became mine, too.

For my friends.

For the teachers and professors who pushed me to do more.

For the authors I’ve read.

For the artists and their work I’ve admired.

For the architects, engineers and scientists who build our world and help keep us safe.

Yep. I am truly thankful for everyone who makes human life better…and all of those men and women who – 77 years ago – helped to free the oppressed and brought WW2 to an end.
