Always go for the round trip.

Dorothy never knew what she had until she thought she lost it all.

For those of us who have learned the lesson, be sure to make it clear to others – there is always someone ready to welcome you back with open arms.

• Good to have a back up plan.
• It is better in your own bed.
• There is no place like home.
• No matter how long you’re away.
• You are always welcome.

Tonight we went to pick up our baby for the weekend. This was a quick round trip – on a Friday night – and it will be too short of a visit, even with a Monday holiday. Normally these days she is off finding her own new adventure, but it is quite nice to have her back home, even for a brief visit.
