All summer, we were missing the rain that was so very needed, for the water table, for the grass, for the plants, for the trees and of course, for the apples.
Today, we were not missing the rain, happy to go apple picking on just a damp day, a foggy Sunday morning at the apple orchard – but if it had rained more all summer long, we’d have been able to find more juicy apples.
