You must become completely and utterly impossible to ignore.

• I do not mean the intolerable toddler misbehaving.
• I do not mean the person plugging their ears chanting “la la la I can’t hear you” (on repeat) as you try to tell a story.
• I do not mean the loud, overbearing chatter of two people in a restaurant or on a public transit, commuter train.

No, that is just out of your control and (pretty) annoying.

• I do mean, commanding a room, making your presence both known and welcome.
• I do mean, creating a lasting impact on someone else from the things you do or have done.
• I do mean, leaning in and paying attention, then giving your best advice that they not only hear, but take to heart.

What you do is actually quite impossible to ignore. In the very best way.
