Hold Your Breath

You don’t have to hold your breath while waiting.

In fact, you shouldn’t.

Take the time to breathe in and out, making the most of the time. Let go of the tension and stress and be prepared when things are ready for you.

  • New tech set up.
  • Pots of water boiling.
  • Cakes baking.
  • Bread rising.
  • Water getting hot, as it comes out of the cold winter ground and (thankfully) through the modern day plumbing you enjoy in your house.
  • Packages to arrive (promised literally the day you need them).
  • Sweaters to dry.
  • Games to be done.

Not all areas of life can move at the speed of you. Take a pause. Relax.

Or, hold your breath, then let it out. Then, repeat, breathing in fresh air, filling your lungs…and hold only to let it go slowly, controlled and with intention. This will be a lesson well learned when you can do it and not think about it.
