Get Out There

Nothing in the last few years has done more to make children get out there than the Pokemon Go app.

Kids, everywhere, can be seen on the street, in the yard, on the sidewalk (of course, not paying attention to the outdoors,) but they are paying attention to others – their younger, or older, siblings and cousins, as well as friends. And, yes, they are moving around.

That part is of course good, one might say a side benefit…

Other developers should take their lead and do things to make everyone get out there and move – even without them really knowing it is happening. Or, at least make the older kids appreciate that the younger kids have something that they need so they can learn to work together and create a fair exchange. That’s good, too.
