Fun in Functional

Let's be sure to keep the fun in functional...

Not quite as attention getting as the line "she keeps the fun in dysfunctional" but, still we are enjoying it.

Giggling.
Playing.
Creating.
Uniquely.

Bold.

It is the only life we get. Forget about being boring. There is no time for that. We are laughing too much. Making the every day just a little bit better.

Parents do it all the time.

Here comes the airplane, zooooom with the peas on the spoon. Pick up the toys and toss them into the basket like a ball; score a point for each one you make and take all the free throws you want to achieve a new high score. Cutting pb&j sammies into triangles to make butterflies.

Adults can do it too.

Go. Eat candy. Get dressed up. See you soon. (Maybe sooner if you have Swedish Fish in the candy dish.)

Let's try to enjoy life a little more, each and every day. The Halloween costume can be clever, cute or just plain fun in functional ways. They are designed to make us smile and remember what it is like to be a kid again, without a mountain of e-mails, bills or jobs to do. Unless it is getting ready for the holiday, in which case, let me not stop you.
