It is always a good sign when you see someone and they say you are always welcome.
Obviously, clients and customers are usually that.
Until they are not.
I did, actually ask a customer to leave once. She made my kitchen manager cry. She literally made a grown woman cry because she was so rude, caustic and unrealistic…and, the manager thought I would take the client’s side…um. No.
I told her she was not to come back until she could be nice. I have no regrets about that and would do it again.(She was flabbergasted. I don’t think anyone had ever seen her speechless.)
Family, however; well, I can’t see ever asking them to leave. I guess, that is a sure sign of a good family, when you can honestly say they are always welcome.
