If you act then think it could be a problem.
Yet.
We do it often for many reasons.
We are:
- In a rush.
- Responding from a point of emotion, defensiveness or fear.
- Not sure of the right next step or unclear on why it is needed.
- Already in fight or flight mode.
Let’s be sure to focus on the act then think about what it is that we will do – before we put it into action. Next time. And then the next. We can learn. We can be better. We can make a real difference. We don’t have to take ALL the time, but just enough; just a pause to make the very best decision possible.
