In a state of emergency, before the weather event happens someone has to make the call. It has to start somewhere.
If you listen to the weather forecasters, they started talking about Stella the Winter Storm last week. The super markets have been crazy since then – all weekend long – of course.
That said, “we” have no school tomorrow. Which means… me and thousands of parents out there will still have work.
Hopefully it snows just enough to make the news right. Vindicated. Revered.
Clearly, someone has to make the call, but they could still be wrong. When they are, they will be forgiven as long as it offers us the opportunity to sleep in – especially during the first week of daylight savings time.

PS If it snows and I think it will, go for a walk in the snow. The sound of the crunch under your feet is so relaxing and refreshing at the same time.
