There are just a few days left until Valentine’s Day, well known for being the most romantic day of the year, other than perhaps a couple’s anniversary. Here are a few gifts that are maybe not a good idea to buy for this particular holiday – even though they have indeed been advertised today on the radio – for the holiday.

• Energy saving appliances, the “smart ones” like refrigerators you can see inside from your computer and stacking washer/dryer combo kits.
• A vacuum cleaner that is lightweight and goes round corners like a champ.
• Tickets to a self-help seminar.
• Cellular rebuilding eye lifting cream…a buy one get one package – one for each of you!

There are probably many other similarly terrible items that are maybe not a good idea to give, today or any day, for that matter. If you can’t find a good idea, then it might be better to ask than to risk giving one of these four particular gifts. You don’t have to trust me…but you probably should…and if you don’t believe me, ask Cupid ’cause even though he is a cherub baby, he probably has a better idea.
