When you are relaxing, home after dinner this week, think about those who can’t start winding down yet – yes, the retail workers who are putting up with each and every one of our frustrations, blow ups and meltdowns.

• Be adult.
• Share your joy of the season.
• Smile and glow with the trill of finding that perfect sought after gift.
• Say thank you.
• Ask how their day is going and wish them a happy holiday or a Merry Christmas.
• Smile.
• Repeat…

Soon, they will be able to start winding down, but not for another 3 days. No. They have 3 more days through which they must endure the craziness. Keep it real folks and be nice. ‘Tis the holiday season after all.
