It’s true, right? We all have to start somewhere.

The somewhere, is the difference though, for each one of us. Even if we both – or a hundred…even a couple hundred thousand of us – started at the same place, our experienced would be our own.

No one can really tell you what their first day on the new job, in the new school or on the new team was like and have it be exactly “like that” for you.

Until you start, you can’t call the experience your own; you have to learn it from the first hand perspective.

Of course, we all have to start somewhere, the most important thing – more important than trying to figure out what it will be like, if you will like it, if they will like you – is to start. Ask when, not where.
