Stick to Your Plan

Stick to your plan – even in the face of obstacles, delays, budget increases, if you know that the plan is worth executing – then stick with it.

A bit more hard work, longer hours, help from some family, friends, staff and co-creators – maybe taking a bit more time than originally projected or changing your expectations of the outcome will get you there.

Let people who can help you know HOW they can better help you accomplish your goals. Be clear. Be specific. If people offer to do things for you for free, that’s great, but make sure that it is still in the direction you need or want to go. If it isn’t then say thank you, that you appreciate their offer, but that you need to do it another way. When you can, reciprocate and really thank those who got you where you wanted to go.
