Starting Early in Your Career

If you have success, starting early in your career – more power to you, right?

Debbie Reynolds was just 19 when she was in her first movie…Singing In The Rain.

Carrie Fisher was just 19 when she was in her first movie…Star Wars.

Both were blockbusters, timeless classics, appealing to young and old.

Having watched both movie in the last 24 hours, I definitely have a preference. It has nothing to do with the age of the actress.

Clearly.

It has nothing to do with the co stars. It has nothing to do with what they did after that movie – their entire filmography… Their parenting style…yea, well, maybe that, although who knows? I have no knowledge of how Carrie brought up Billie. Recent inklings may show that Billie has potential to be more than her mom or grandmother.

But doesn’t everyone?

Deciding who you are and what you want to be, starting early in your career can give you an advantage. So can being the daughter of someone who did something so amazing that millions of people agree that it was amazing, even decades later.
