Start Early

It is usually best to start early with the getting ready and getting organized part of life, whether it is for school, for work or even vacation.

But, mostly for every day…being able to get off to a good start, and being able to get that one last check of e-mail before you head out.

Planning ahead, setting stuff aside can make or break the last minute issues that will come up – in life – every day, every week and every month.

  • Sort.
  • Separate.
  • Pack.
  • Stack.
  • Print.
  • File.
  • Set aside.
  • Remember where you put it!

Some how, this helps the kids, too. So. Teach them young, help them see the value and reduce any extra stress you can from your life.

You certainly don’t need that, and neither do they.

For those of you who know me, I prefer easing into my day so planning ahead makes a huge difference, because not every day is easy.

Especially, if I have to get up and out, to start early (or earlier) than normal. Do everything you can the day before, the night before (or sooner) as a routine and you will have more time to eat breakfast, have a second cup of coffee, and the ability to finish up that last minute e-mail while still enjoying the morning. You will love yourself for planning ahead. Trust me on this.
