When you start a business, you want to reach for the sun, the moon and the stars. You set lofty goals so that when you achieve them, you can say that you got farther than anyone thought you could go.

You do not start out, optimistic and positive – thinking that you will fail. You do everything in your power to succeed. You should be open as many days and hours as you possibly can be…when customers are available to shop from you. You have the best employees you can afford (many times, this is you and the people you trust most in your life.) You create a slogan that can be remembered by everyone…

This pizza shop, they did a lot of these things and so much more. Saying that they are the “finest in the universe” may be a matter of opinion. They did, however, set lofty goals and since we have yet to get to Mars, they may be able to argue their point.

PS I don’t necessarily agree with them, but I applaud their effort. Plus, bonus points since their slogan went very nicely with the pizza cutter we brought for the occasion. (Yea, we brought that…they do not provide the NCC-1701 silver plated pizza wheel, although that would really make a statement!)
