Team competitions can create rivals but friends always stick together.

Every year, local school teams make the Thanksgiving holiday even better by entertaining us, playing their hearts out and trying to bring home a win for the home team.

My home town, and now my kids’, have a serious dedication to the sports team of any and all genres, not just football. What I liked most about this year’s Powder Puff Football game is that not a moment after the game, the players were not rivals but friends again. That can’t be said about everyone nor every sports team, but it should be that way…after all, trades happen.
