Maybe this is a year to do something differently? Do you make resolutions? Maybe, just one? Or, none at all?
My daughter asked if I was making a New Year “revolution” this year – so…. After I corrected her (laughing but not trying to make her feel at all bad) – I told her, truthfully, I don’t usually make “resolutions“. It’s not that I think I’m perfect, I know I’m not. But, truthfully, if I think there’s something I should do, or could do better, I won’t wait for the new year. If I feel strongly enough, I won’t wait to start…
So, what do you want to do differently in 2015, or in April, or on July 15th…? Whenever, whatever it is, I’ll support you and I hope that you don’t wait to get started.
Even though it is New Year’s Eve and maybe it was being in NYC – tracking scenes from Meg Ryan’s movies (inadvertently – I didn’t even know Carnegie Deli was that close to our hotel until we were there) – but Harry (ahem, Nora) had it right.
When you know what you want for the rest of your life, you want to start as soon as possible.
Happy New Year everyone…

PS Here’s the real quote. Gotta love Nora.
“…I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
