Shhh, keep quiet. The baby is sleeping.

At least, right now, she is sleeping. She will probably sleep well for about a week, maybe two. Then, all bets are off. The stress of labor wears off, the realization that baby girl is mostly comfortable when mom is moving – just like she is used to from growing up in mom’s belly.

Our nephew had a baby girl today, well, mom did anyway, but he is definitely a proud father. We are so excited for the new parents.

The kids are happy, too – but they are old enough now to keep quiet – they have no idea how important that is to their own lives now, too. Maybe, some day, they will know first hand. Hopefully they will.
