Lessons from our past can be quite impactful…reminding us what is most important.
Today we went to a local play house’s rendition of A Merry Christmas Charlie Brown. Friends of ours were in the play and it was just so good to see it today.
It happens every year, we forget the true meaning of Christmas, getting caught up in the frenzy of what to buy, where to shop and how much to spend.
In the play, Snoopy and Woodstock decorate the dog house with tinsel and those old fashioned, oversized multi-colored lights from our past. Charlie Brown is upset that even his trusted dog has become commercialized. Just this small reminder from the classic comic’s characters, played by our young friends can really help…
