Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day – a holiday and a great day for retail sales.

It is also a day for volunteering and community service.

The weather may have kept people indoors today (it is finally cold here, there and everywhere.) But, oh, the offers were pouring in – more could have come – more could have been given – to help where help is needed.
