Holidays, regardless of where you are, or how you celebrate is about making new memories.

Every year there is an opportunity to try something new.

This year, we are trying what the kids (often) would like best…to stay home, sleep in, keep it low key and just relax doing whatever they want to do, pretty much when they want to do it.

So, I let my cooking-baking-help-around-the-house offspring chill while I made chocolate chip cookies.

Now, they are playing head to head video games with their siblings…something they might do occasionally, but enjoying now more than ever.

We will all still enjoy making new memories for another holiday. Or, even (probably) when we can leave the house for an extended trip, going to restaurants, out with friends, to our favorite stores and even school in the coming year.
