Up for a round of golf? How about mini golf? Is it true that every where you play offers you – the winner (even if you are the highest scoring player) – a free game if you get a hole in one on the 18th?
I am pretty sure that this is a universal promotion, offered at all mini-golf places. Why would they do that?
- It certainly makes you feel good.
- It rewards you for your skill or luck at the game of chance known as mini golf.
- It brings you back (even if you forget your voucher…) and even 3 or 4 paying players out of a group of 4 or 5 is a bargain for the mini-golf course
Mini-golf just screams vacation! It is found in most resort towns – even Langhorne has a mini golf…maybe two, but I definitely know of one within just a few minutes of Sesame Place’s favorite hotels. That blue water waterfall is a dead giveaway and a great landmark for a surefire 1.5 hours of fun, laughter, friendly competition. It is also a good way to get them out of the sandy bathing suits, chilly water and tiresome waves. It is just one of those must-do vacation activities for kids and kids of all ages.
Wouldn’t you plan to go back if you won a free game? I know we probably will when we come back next time – why… because the voucher also never expires. What a bargain and a great, albeit simple, idea to beat out the competition (although on this island, I think there really is only one.)
