When you try to balance what one person likes (more) than another, you can flip and flop from one extreme to another. Television, on demand and amateur video entertainment offers more options than ever. There is variety to suit one and all, from:

• Football games to design shows.
• Comedy to documentaries.
• Reality to complete, utter fantasy.
• News to social commentary.
• Cooking to detective.
• History to human interest.

No matter what you choose, given the option the other person may prefer another topic or theme. Give it balance, you can just flip and flop from one to another. Maybe each of you will find you like the other. If not at least learn to share what you love about the ones you choose.
