There are times when you should, but other moments when the best advice is: don’t push it.

You don’t care that much about it.

Others will be affected badly if it happens.

It is too big of an ask.

They are not in the right headspace for this right now.

People won’t understand, embrace it or embody your vision.

The season isn’t right.

They already said no, and it is an emotional decision for them.

This isn’t a time to debate, no matter how you are prepared with reason after reason and valid arguments.

Right now, maybe not…don’t push it – perhaps later would be better.
