This fence – the one you can barely see – offers a clear view of the beach and the inlet.

I didn’t even know this was in the photo when we were walking on the beach today…

It makes me wonder, as I look at it some more. More intriguing than the people on the beach (too far away to recognize.) Certainly more interesting than the sail boats, tug and the acrobatic planes.

• Does it keep people our of their yard?
• Who came up with the idea of a glass fence?
• How often do they have to wash the windows?
• Does it really feel like privacy?

Plus, the most serious question of them all…

If there is a clear view into your pool and patio from the beach, why even have a fence?
