Clear Skies

Even though we need the rain that we have had – steady, street flooding, Seattle-like rain – I wish we had clear skies.

The crisp evenings of fall make for wonderful star gazing…dreaming and thinking about what can be.  We are thinking now of the upcoming holidays and spending some time not working, disconnecting, spending gift-giving funds on just being together.

Even though our northeast, suburban, light-polluted night is never quite what you see in this photo, I do have a thought that these clear skies could be ours. I guess however, that I should be thinking of a cabin, somewhere, with woods all around.  Room for friends. No deadlines. Maybe a personal chef to allow us to dine in…and the presents of simply being present. Happy December everyone – may this month be a wonderful time beginning to end.
