Christmas Chocolate

If we were meant to be on a diet in January, then Christmas chocolate could not be the ideal gift. You can’t possibly eat it all in a mere 7 days, and those who follow the 12 days of Christmas tradition wouldn’t be able to continue to eat it until Nativity arrives on the 6th. In addition, here are some reasons to reconsider the “no chocolate” portion of your diet at least.

You need chocolate when you go “back” to work.

You need to feed the brain with antioxidants.

You need to have a sweet moment and there is no better way to achieve this than with ganache.

You need a mocha every once in a while, whether hot or iced is your choice.

You need to see your friends when you can, and sometimes that is well after the holiday is past, and as already stated, it makes the ideal gift.

You need to say thank you to your body for not giving in after all the stress, hustle and bustle of the five weeks since Thanksgiving.

Right?

Yes. Of course Christmas chocolate is the ideal gift and it is the perfect reason to not diet, but to just be moderate (or slightly indulgent occasionally) throughout the year.
