Calmer Now

Last week, it was a bit insane, but it is much calmer now.

Have you ever just gotten to that point?

The point where you can’t deal with something that normally would be so trivial.

You just want to let yourself freak out, but you somehow can’t – and, yet at the same time cannot form the words.

Pause.

Think.

Try.

Wait.

You can do it.

Compose yourself…think of the right words to say. Ask for a moment. Then, take a breath.

Remember that they don’t know what they don’t know. Remind them of the basics. Talk it through and explain how things work and what needs to be done.

Breath again.

Then, you can relax.

It works every single time.

Yes, much calmer now.
