To all the moms out there, even when they are not the mother of the child…

• the teacher who sees the one who needs a little extra
• the nurse who knows what they need to hear
• the coach who believes in them and what they want to do
• the instructor who understands where they’re starting and what they need to do to get where they want to go
• the friends who have children the same age and listen to what they say – then, share the funny and the serious things they hear
• the grandmother who let’s them sleep in, have as much ice cream as they want, buys the “sugar cereal” and teaches them (more) patiently than their own mom some pretty good life skills
