Why change things that appear, from all accounts, to be working?
We have “heard” that the “new” iPhone will include removal of the audio jack. Why? Because it is the limiting factor for making the phone thinner. That is probably a good reason to change, right?
Right, but do we need a thinner phone? Yes. No. Ok, maybe.
Do we need a thinner phone that will then render obsolete all ear buds, head phones and accessories that get plugged into that audio jack?
Let this sink in for a moment.
Now, if you are about to change something for the sake of changing – you should ask a big question first. Why change it and what will it change for you, too? I am confident that Apple has already answered that question and they are fully prepared for what it will mean to them…
