Thoughts and Truths

I think the concept of thoughts and truths is a very interesting concept. When your thoughts become truths. How very powerful that is…

I grew up in a house, with parents, who believed that you were supposed to be positive about your life in general. We were taught to think about the things that we wanted, who we wanted to become and what we wanted to do in our lives. Thinking positively to enable you to make the thoughts become a reality.

Does it work? I don’t know for sure, but I think so.

Why do I think so… well, I know for sure that it works the other way around. When I am tired and I don’t want to get up, or I don’t feel good and want to sleep the day away, I am tired. All. Day. Long.  If I let my mind wander down a path of negativity, it gets worse and worse falling into a fit of despair. If I let pain overcome my mind, it overcomes my body, too.

So, I try to think about something else. To think about what I want. I want to get up and embrace the day, be productive and accomplish my week’s goals. I want to be healthier and more fit and to feel great!

I want to have happiness around me, in my family, in my home, with my friends and my co-workers. When I put my mind to something, I can make it become true. This doesn’t mean that – simply by magic – things happen. It still takes work, effort and making smart decisions.

But, if I think it, it can be.

Can you do this? Do you want to do this? Try it for yourself and let me know. I’d like to have more proof than I have today. Maybe its more of an art than a science.
