Then, It’s Lost

You know when you just thought of something, the thing that you keep forgetting to do. You are about to do it, the phone rings, the e-mail pings, you look up one more thing and then, it’s lost.

  • The idea.
  • The thought, “I must”.
  • The urgency to do something.

The best thing to do, at least from what I have found, is to write it down.

It happens, too, when you think, “hmm, I haven’t saved this document in a while, I should probably save it.” You are about to do it, but, the phone rings, the e-mail pings, you look up one more thing and then, it’s lost. You only have yourself to blame, the hardware or the software isn’t the failure. Your brain knew what to do.
