When we are in the other side of the situation it is so clear.

• 100 percent
• Of course

We are rarely able to “see the forest through the trees”. It is not our fault. We are human and humans are made to be fallible.

This indeed is why parents judge other parents.

• OMG I can’t believe her…
• Would you look at that
• I would never let my child behave that way
• Why did she bring them

When you’re observing a situation – whether you’ve been in a similar one or not, simply being on the other side is enough for you to judge someone else. The real test is whether you can be the one who has experienced it, then observed it and be able to see the truth for the next time (if there is one).
