Sunny Disposition

When it isn’t enough for you to naturally have a sunny disposition, you may need to call in some reinforcements.

  • Caffeine.
  • Comfort food.
  • Friends.
  • New clothes.
  • Cuddling under the covers.
  • A vacation to a beach, somewhere it is at least 80 degrees and you have to sit under an umbrella for shade.
  • Ordering new sunglasses in the hopes, nay, the confidence that the sun will be here again.

Unless, of course, you live in Seattle, in which case, you need all of those and to be committed to a sunny disposition, because it is only bright and sun-shiny there a mere couple months of the year. The rest of the time, the people around you, need…well, they need you to be your usual cheerful, positive self. Hang in there, it will get easier.
