When you make common spelling errors, you may not even see them. It is what you meant to say, write or share. To you, it is correct. To others…not so much.

Ask for help.

Get someone to proof.

Check your work before you print.

Otherwise, the sign will go to market and for years, literally years, you will have to look it in the face. The spelling errors you made, visible to the entire community who may drive by – and even some people from out of town. This isn’t just an observation by an adult – it was caught by a 6th grader. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it; every single time you drive by.
