I am sure that sounded weird…not to me and not to you.

It was probably okay to some others, too.

But, it sounded off to the people who have a different perspective. Some would say, they have a cognitive bias that differs from yours and others.

Are they from the same area of the world, and the country?

Are they in a similar area of expertise and education?

Are they willing to talk about their perspective and yours?

Maybe it sounded weird this time, but the next round will go better. Talk it out. Have the dialogue. Be open to other opinions. Hear what they have to share and keep thinking about it.
