Right now, wherever you are, you can probably look around and help someone solve a problem.

The questions are:

• Will they listen to your suggestion?
• Will it cost them time, energy, money or some other concession?

And, probably the most important…

• Will they appreciate your help?

There are many ways to solve a problem, and sometimes it takes someone else to help. The next time someone offers you assistance, will you accept it; or, were you just making conversation and talking about an issue to pass the time?
