Planning ahead, companies can renovate and be ready for the next big season. The timing is everything and yes, it matters.

We planned (my kids and I) to get a milkshake today after going to the dentist. It is a tradition of sorts, in a way to reward them for having great teeth and to sooth the stress caused by having to go there in the first place.

We were surprised and disappointed today to find that our favorite spot has decided to renovate and be ready for the upcoming holiday traffic, which is taking place – admittedly – after they had quite a busy summer season. The timing was against us, but we look forward to the new restaurant in a few weeks and hopefully it will be ready before we have to get braces tightened again next month.
