My problem is…at least with fiction, I do not simply read it and remember.

• I have to talk about it.
• I have to really engage in the story.
• I have to write about it.

Is this your problem, too?

I do know others like me. And, like their experience, it is not a purposeful thing, to demean or belittle the author’s efforts. In contrast, it is simple a matter of time and availability.

A lot of books that need to be read.

A habit of being a fast reader.

A voracious appetite … for reading.

Try your very best, if you can to enjoy as you read it and remember.
