It would be totally cool if you could just ride around on a cloud, right?

Getting where you need to be in an instant. Seeing the sights as you go. Floating above all of the bad weather, cold and chaos (depending on where you are.) Getting there without traffic or delays. Living your best dream and being totally relaxed, ready for anything the world will send your way.

It’s been a long time since I thought about that option and back then, I didn’t even know about traffic or delays. I just thought it would be fun floating way up in the air.

Then, I learned the science. Clouds don’t have substance. You can’t stand on them, not even the dense, dark, stormy looking ones.

You can “see” the reality of it if you fly and go right through one. You see it coming and then, you can’t see anything, but there is no “substance” it just appears as so.

Now, there are so many things that are on a cloud…your documents, pictures, data, spreadsheets and backups – just out there, floating around and you don’t worry about it a single bit. Not even if there is a power outage, rain, or thunderstorms. That is probably closer to the original idea than ever and more of a reality than being able to ride a cloud from one town, city or country to another. So, I will take it and still think that one day, maybe, things will change and it will be just as beautiful as you imagined.
