I don’t have much to argue on this point, but often rain not snow is preferred.

Especially when it is torrential (rain that is).

Especially when it is winter and the temps are dropping, colder and colder.

Especially when you have a lot to do and places to go.

It is strictly a personal preference. Rain not snow. Unless, it is just a light dusting to make the area pretty. No need to shovel. It’s not too cold. No where you need to be.
