There are some new features and technology that are not helpful.

New updates, software releases, design features and informational settings can be one or the other.

Or, not helpful (and not just because it is different, new or out of the norm.) Sometimes the "improvements" are not actually that. We need to think and plan carefully to establish an actual advancement and not just a set back.
