There typically is a normal order to things, not just in math, but in life.

When you upset the sequence, things can go awry – not necessarily bad, but troublesome or more time consuming than it could be.

Go first.

Take turns.

Step by step.

Don’t skip anything.

Upside down or sideways.

Follow the normal order, from the beginning, through the middle and to the end. If you divert and try to skip ahead, you might have to go backwards…and no one likes to do that.
